FLORIDA SUMMER ELOPEMENTS DON’T HAVE TO BE INSIDE

Although summer is extremely hot in Florida, you do not have to run away from the beautiful nature during your elopement ceremony. Rose and Jonah chose to elope under Treaty Oak, a 250 year old oak tree in Jacksonville Florida. They invited a select few of their best friends and immediate family members to witness their ceremony. Their ceremony was small and intimate, exactly as their pictured it!

THINGS TO REMEMBER DURING YOUR FLORIDA SUMMER ELOPEMENT

  • If you are planning to have an outdoors ceremony, keep in mind that it can get hot and you will be sweaty
  • Grooms, wear less layers during your ceremony and be sure you are able to remove them if necessary
  • Brides, choose a dress that has minimal layers or lighter fabric. This will allow you to avoid having to life a heavy dress in the heat and minimize sweating
  • Bring hand fans and supply your gests with them as well.
  • Have bug spray on hand. Summer times brings out a lot of different kinds of bugs, especially if its or have rained recently
  • Bring sunscreen with you. Even if it is cloudy out you will get sunburnt. The Florida UV rays are insane! (I always have some on me if you forget)

MUST KNOW DETAILS ABOUT ROSE AND JONAH’S ELOPEMENT

  • Rose and Jonah pictured a private ceremony with a beautiful landscape inviting only their closest friends and family members
  • It was 95 degree F on the day of their elopement ceremony which took place May 26th, 2024
  • They lean more towards a dark and edgy lifestyle, which is perfect because that is exactly my style.
  • During our planning process they told me once they love vampires and she loves her porcelain white skin and bright red hair, so I made sure to highly like this on their wedding day.
